People, Planet, Possibility — The P.E.A. Awards Part 1: Bringing Hope, Action, and Plastic to Purpose to a Global Sustainability Stage

Part 1 of our People Planet, Possibility — P.E.A. Awards Series

What an inspiring evening at the P.E.A. (People. Environment. Achievement.) Awards. 🌍💚

The Love Peace Harmony Foundation was honored to stand alongside remarkable organizations, visionary leaders, environmental innovators, and passionate changemakers who are helping create a healthier, more sustainable future for generations to come.

Held as part of London Climate Action Week, Europe's largest city-wide climate festival, the P.E.A. Awards have become one of the world's leading celebrations of environmental leadership, recognizing individuals and organizations who are transforming hope into action. This year's event brought together changemakers from six continents and celebrated practical solutions that are improving lives while protecting our planet.

What made the evening especially inspiring was its message.

Rather than focusing on the challenges facing our world, the event celebrated the people who are already creating solutions.

That is something we deeply believe at the Love Peace Harmony Foundation.

Every day, through our three pillars—

💙 Nurture Yourself

🤝 Support Others

🌱 Heal the Planet

—we see firsthand that lasting environmental change begins with people. When we care for ourselves, support one another, and take practical action together, we create a ripple effect that transforms our communities—and ultimately our world.

A Shared Vision with Jarvis Smith

The evening also marked another exciting step in our growing relationship with Jarvis Smith, founder of the P.E.A. Awards, environmental advocate, broadcaster, entrepreneur, and founder of My Green Pod, one of the UK's leading sustainability publications.

Jarvis is also an Ommm-bassador for OMMM, the New York-based wellbeing platform that is helping connect people around the world through mindfulness and conscious living.

We're delighted that the Love Peace Harmony Foundation has now been featured twice in My Green Pod Magazine, including the latest edition.

These partnerships represent something much bigger than media coverage. They bring together organizations that share a common belief—that creating a healthier planet also means helping people live healthier, more connected lives.

Plastic to Purpose Takes the Stage

One of the highlights of the evening was when 12-year-old Joe Rajapaksha—climate campaigner & environmental advocate, author of five books and winner of last year’s P.E.A. Award for Youth—took to the P.E.A. Awards stage to introduce the Love Peace Harmony Foundation's Plastic to Purpose initiative.

Joe passionately shared how Plastic to Purpose is helping children see plastic differently—not as waste, but as opportunity.

Through hands-on sustainability education, creativity, and practical action, children discover how everyday materials can be transformed into purposeful products while developing environmental awareness, leadership, and a lifelong commitment to caring for our planet.

More importantly, Joe reminded everyone that meaningful environmental change begins with education.

When children understand that their choices matter, they grow into adults who naturally care for the Earth and the communities around them.

Continuing the Conversation

Following Joe's presentation, our very own Marlous de Bordes—founder of Save Plastics, co-founder of Save Living, and one of the driving forces behind Plastic to Purpose—shared how our growing partnership is helping expand the initiative internationally.

Working with the Love Peace Harmony Foundation, Marlous continues to help bring Plastic to Purpose into schools and communities, inspiring children to become environmental leaders while providing practical tools to reduce plastic waste through education and creativity.

Together, we're demonstrating that environmental education can be engaging, hopeful, and accessible to everyone.

Looking Ahead

The P.E.A. Awards reminded us that creating a sustainable future isn't the responsibility of one person or one organization.

It's something we build together.

We're deeply grateful to everyone we met, every conversation we shared, and every new partnership that began during this inspiring evening.

Most of all, we're excited about what comes next.

This is the first article in our PEA Awards Series — People, Planet, Possibility, where we'll continue sharing highlights from this remarkable event.

In our next article, we'll celebrate the Love Peace Harmony Foundation's honor of presenting the Health & Wellbeing Award—the most entered category of the evening—and explore why wellbeing is becoming an essential part of conversations about sustainability.

In Part Three, we'll share one of the most meaningful moments of the evening as our Founder, Dr. & Master Zhi Gang Sha, was honored with and received the Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his lifelong dedication to serving humanity.

Together, let's continue to…
