Honoring the Spirit of Transformation: An LPH Volunteer Highlight

By Francesca Bartella, LPHF’s Manager Volunteer Services

We recently received a deeply moving video from our dedicated volunteer, Christi Mendoza, in Los Angeles, California. In the wake of the devastating LA fires, Christi has been working with participants to find a path toward healing through Love Peace Harmony wellness practices, including tracing LPH Calligraphy.
This practice is more than just art; it is a sacred alignment. Whether sitting or standing, the act of tracing creates a vital bridge between the mind and the body. In that space of connection, the heavy weight of loss begins to lift, allowing a new sense of transformation and creative energy to flow directly into one’s being.

We deeply appreciate activities like these that go beyond words. We honor the resilience of the participants and the compassion of our volunteers who meet people at their point of greatest need. By offering these experiences of Love, Peace, and Harmony, we aren't just tracing lines—we are helping to rewrite the narrative of recovery with grace.
