Love Peace Harmony Takes the Stage in Times Square for International Day of Peace

From a song shared in Times Square to a global invitation to pause, connect, and choose peace.

On September 19, 2026, Love Peace Harmony Foundation joined artists, changemakers, peace advocates, sustainability leaders, and communities from around the world in Times Square, New York City, for a public celebration honoring the United Nations International Day of Peace.

For us, it was more than an appearance on a stage. It was an opportunity to bring our message of love, peace, harmony, connection, and everyday positive action into one of the most visible public spaces in the world.

Love can be shared. Peace can be practiced. Harmony can grow.

Peace in the Heart of Times Square

Observed each year on September 21, the United Nations International Day of Peace calls attention not only to peace between nations, but to the ways peace is built in communities, neighborhoods, classrooms, and everyday life. The 2026 theme, “Invest in Peace — For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day,” closely reflects what Love Peace Harmony stands for: the idea that meaningful change begins with the choices each of us makes and grows through collective action. Just days before the official observance, the September 19 Times Square celebration brought that message into the heart of New York as world leaders and changemakers were arriving for UN General Assembly and Climate Week activity. OMMM Presents gathered artists, peacebuilders, Indigenous elders, scientists, entrepreneurs, young changemakers, and community organizations around its complementary theme, “Peace Starts Within.” Ommm Presents

The wider day featured an extraordinary range of voices and performers, including messages and appearances from internationally recognized figures alongside artists and grassroots changemakers. For Love Peace Harmony, sharing that stage mattered because it placed our own work — nurturing wellbeing, supporting others, strengthening communities, and caring for the planet — within a much larger global conversation about what peace looks like in practice.

In a place known for constant movement, media, and noise, Times Square became, for a few hours, somewhere people could pause, listen, connect, and experience something together.

A Partnership Built Around Shared Values

Our participation grew from our relationship with OMMM Presents and Jarvis Smith, an OMMMbassador, sustainability advocate, co-founder of My Green Pod, and founder of the P.E.A. Awards.

OMMM creates experiences that bring together wellbeing, consciousness, sustainability, creativity, and community — areas that naturally connect with Love Peace Harmony’s own commitment to nurturing ourselves, supporting one another, and caring for the planet. Ommm Presents

Our growing partnership with Jarvis has been grounded in those same shared values: bringing people together, creating meaningful experiences, and turning positive intention into action. Peace Day was another important expression of what can happen when organizations and individuals with aligned purposes collaborate.

Love Peace Harmony Takes the Stage

At approximately 6:51 PM, Love Peace Harmony took the Times Square stage together with The Ancient Youth. Luma

Their rich harmonies and ethereal sound brought a powerful new dimension to the Love Peace Harmony song, carrying its message into one of the world’s most recognizable public spaces.

For us, the moment captured something central to the Love Peace Harmony movement: one voice begins, another joins, and gradually an individual experience becomes collective.

That is why music remains such an important part of our work. It can cross language, cultural, and personal differences and create connection without requiring everyone to share the same background or beliefs.

The Ancient Youth’s performance made that idea visible and audible in a way that words alone could not.

From Times Square to Everyday Life

The scale of Times Square was extraordinary, but the deeper meaning of the day extends far beyond one stage or one city.

The United Nations’ 2026 Peace Day message emphasizes that peace is built by everyday people — volunteers, advocates, neighbors, educators, community leaders, and individuals who choose cooperation, dialogue, kindness, and service. United Nations

That understanding is deeply connected to Love Peace Harmony.

Peace can look like taking time to nurture your own wellbeing so you have more to give. It can be supporting someone in your community, volunteering, choosing compassion over division, caring for the environment, or simply creating a moment where people feel seen and connected.

Small actions matter because they multiply.

One World. One Song. One Growing Movement.

Standing in Times Square with The Ancient Youth, our partners, and people gathered around a shared intention for peace was an important milestone for Love Peace Harmony Foundation.

But it was also a reminder that our role is not simply to participate in significant moments — it is to carry their meaning forward.

Around the world, people are already doing this through music, meditation, volunteering, community service, environmental initiatives, and everyday acts of care.

Times Square gave that work a highly visible stage.

Now the invitation continues:

Pause. Connect. Choose peace.

Love can be shared.
Peace can be practiced.
Harmony can grow.
